Akame Taki Aquarium is a small aquarium at the entrance to Akame 48 Waterfalls, centered on giant salamanders and the living creatures of the gorge. It is easy to combine with a walk through the waterfalls area, so you can enjoy both the aquarium and the surrounding nature in one visit.

From the second Friday of March to November 30: 8:30–17:00 / From December 1 to the second Wednesday of March: 9:00–16:30 (last admission 30 minutes before closing)

Access

About 10 minutes by Mie Kotsu bus from Kintetsu Akameguchi Station, then about 3 minutes on foot after getting off at Akame Taki
