About 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport, DMM Kariyushi Aquarium is an experience-focused aquarium connected to iias Okinawa Toyosaki in Tomigusuku. Instead of relying only on standard tank viewing, it blends live animal displays with lighting, projection, and interactive effects to create a more entertainment-driven visit. The facility spreads across two levels and includes Okinawan marine life, jellyfish, penguins, freshwater species, and land animals such as owls and sloths. Because it is close to the airport and easy to enter for a shorter visit, it works especially well on arrival day or before departure.
