Noboribetsu Marine Park NIXE is a theme-park-style aquarium near the entrance to Noboribetsu Onsen, instantly recognizable by its Danish-castle exterior. Inside NIXE Castle, visitors move through a seawater tunnel, jellyfish displays, and sardine presentations, with roughly 400 species and 20,000 animals on view. Dolphin programs and the Penguin Parade add strong live entertainment appeal, making it an easy fit for family trips as well as broader sightseeing around Noboribetsu.
