Notojima Aquarium

Notojima Aquarium, on Noto Island in Nanao, Ishikawa, remains one of the region's best-known aquarium destinations. Visitors can still enjoy the whale shark area 'Blue World,' the dolphin show, the penguin walk, and the sea-bream light-and-sound program. After the January 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, the aquarium resumed operations step by step, and the dolphin show restarted on March 22, 2025. As of March 2026, however, some exhibits and areas are still suspended.
