Saitama Aquarium

羽生市, 埼玉県

Address: 751-1 Mitagaya, Hanyu, Saitama, Japan

Located inside Hanyu Suigo Park in Hanyu, Saitama Aquarium is one of the few aquariums in Japan built mainly around freshwater life. Its exhibits follow river environments from upstream to downstream while also introducing rare species connected to Saitama, including Miyako bitterling and Musashi tomiyo. Rather than a large entertainment-style aquarium, it offers a quieter visit focused on local nature, learning, and an easy park-and-aquarium outing.
