Kobe Suma Sea World opened in June 2024 as a major redevelopment of the former Kobe Municipal Suma Aqualife Park. It is best known for bringing orcas to Kansai for the first time, but the visit is built around more than that single headline, with the Orca Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, Aqua Live, and Suma Collection together creating a large, modern marine attraction by the coast.
